Join us for the 2019 Jane Austen Festival Grand Ball and Dinner, Saturday night, July 13th, at the

The Grand Ball is returning to The Pendennis Club, located in downtown Louisville, on July 13, 2019. The Grand Ball is a Ticketed Event (does not require Festival admission). Ticketing will include a Dinner and Ball option ($85) or a Ball Only option ($30). Dinner will be at 6:30-8:00 p.m. (NOTE: This is will be a served dinner) and the Ball will be from 8:00-11:00 p.m. Included in this special evening will be intimate "Salon" talks with our featured speakers, card room, billiards room, cash bar, and English Country Dancing.
The Dinner and Grand Ball option is $85 per person. It includes a Welcome Address by Dr. Glynis Ridley, one of our Featured Festival Speakers and a served dinner. To whet your appetite, we present the dinner menu:

*LOCAL ATTENDEES: To prepare for The Grand Ball, dance practice sessions will be provided by the Louisville English Country Dancers (ECD):
Practice sessions in Louisville:
Will meet at Collins Hall at St. Andrews Episcopal Church (2233 Woodbourne Ave., Louisville, KY 40205).
June 23 - 3:00 - 4:30 Festival Grand Ball practice
June 30 - 3:00 - 5:00 Louisville ECD regular dance along with dances on the Festival Grand Ball program
July 7 - 3:00 - 4:30 Festival Grand Ball practice
For those attendees coming in on Friday, there will be a “Cram for the Exam” practice session, Friday night, July 12th, 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. at St. Andrews Episcopal Church (2233 Woodbourne Ave., Louisville, KY).
